They will tell the judgeee ...
-
anything you would like to have
-
where you want to live

-
any struggles you're facing
2) Benchmark Hearings
A BENCHMARK HEARING happens once a year when you go to court to speak to a judge.
You could talk abouttt ...
-
experiences
-
feelings
-
anything that may be bothering you
If you are not comfortable going by yourself, you can invite your CASA, resource parents, Law Guardian, or relatives to come with you!
Remember, you will never be alone! Your CASA is always here for you.
You can tell them your concerns and prepare for your Benchmark Hearing together.
3) support
Your CASA writes REPORTS to tell the judge about how you are doing.
These reports includeee ...

your living situation
-
your emotional needs
-
your educational and social needs
After the reports have been reviewed by the judge, you may be recommended to take therapy sessions or move to a living situation that helps you feel stable.
